Centralele incendiu adresabile sunt similare centralelor conventionale cu exceptia faptului ca panoul de control poate determina exact ce detector sau buton de avertizare a initiat alarma de incendiu. Circuitul de detectie al sistemelor antiincendiu ce includ o centrala adresabila este cablat ca o bucla si in fiecare bucla poate fi conectat un anumit numar maxim de detectori.
